Hitching-Post.net Classifieds is provided as a venue for buyers and sellers to connect with each other and the Hitching-Post.net does not participate in, nor is it a party to, any Classified transactions between the buyer and seller. We do not screen or control users who may be selling or buying in the Classifieds, nor does the Hitching-Post.net review or authenticate all listings, items, or services offered for sale. Therefore, users of this service should be aware that:

• Sellers and buyers are completely responsible for working out the terms of sale and exchange of any and all goods or services.
• Sellers and buyers must resolve any disputes that may arise from Classified transactions. It is important to use care and caution throughout your dealings with other people in the Classifieds.
• Sellers and buyers are responsible for researching and complying with any applicable laws, regulations or restrictions on items, services, terms of sale or exchange that may pertain to transactions in which they participate.
• Sellers and buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes and for all costs incurred by participating in the Hitching-Post.net Classifieds.

All advertsisers and sellers must:

1. Comply with applicable laws. You may not offer for sale or sell an item or service to any buyer in a jurisdiction where the item, service, or terms of the sale violate applicable laws or regulations. You also may not offer for sale any item or service that violates the Hitching-Post.net Classified's policies as described below in "Prohibited Goods and Services."
2. Provide accurate information. You must accurately describe the goods or services you are selling. You may not include anything in your ad, including the ad title, which may confuse or mislead potential buyers or misrepresent the goods or services you are offering.
3. Place ads in the appropriate category. You must list your ad in the most appropriate category. Duplicate Ads can only be posted in more than one category if the goods and/or services you are selling are generally relevant to the categories you're listing in. For example, if you're a realtor advertising horse, farm or ranch properties, you can't list it in the "Horses For Sale" category, however if your a rancher who breeds and sells various livestock such as horses, cattle and working dogs etc., you can list your ad in any or all related categories.
4. Avoid inappropriate ad content. You may not link to, post, or include advertisements for goods or services that are totally irrelevant or different from what your describing or offering for sale in the Hitching-Post.net Classifieds, or that you do not have rights or permission to link to or include. You also may not include any content or images in your ad that are obscene, offensive, harmful to minors, invasive of anyone’s privacy, or otherwise inappropriate.
5. Have the rights to and possession of item. You may not offer any item for sale that is not in your possession, or do not have the rights to sell, or that does not exist at the time of the ad.

It is the responsibility of both the seller and the buyer to ensure that the items or services listed for sale and bought by users are appropriate for sale under all applicable laws and regulations. In most cases, and ideally all ads being posted in the Hitching-Post.net Classifieds should be generally related to, or of interest to, the equestrain or farm and ranch communities.

In any case, you may not list, advertise or sell the following items or services under any circumstances:

1. Any item or service that is harmful to minors, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
2. Illegal or restricted weapons and related accessories, including the following:
   • Firearms including but not limited to ... shotguns, rifles, handguns, air guns, bows and arrows as well as any related ammunitions and accessories. Exceptions are non-fireable Replicas or Toy collector firearms.
   • Stun Guns
   • Switchblade knives.
   • Any concealed weapon.
   • Any explosive device (including firecrackers).
   • Martial arts weapons.
   • Projectors or bombs containing either munitions or noxious gases/substances such as tear gas etc.
   **This policy is to prevent the sale of firearms by unlicensed sellers and buyers through classified ads which allows felons, domestic abusers, minors, and other persons who are prohibited by law from possessing firearms to purchase lethal and/or restricted weapons without a criminal background check.
3. Cigarettes, illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia (including items to grow, manufacture, or distribute the same), or prescription drugs.
4. Medicines or medical devices that are not for veterinarian purposes only.
5. Any item that violates any U.S. export law or regulation, including any items subject to the terms of the U.S. embargoes against certain countries or nations.
6. Any item that infringes the rights of a third party, including items that violate copyrights, trademarks, publicity, or privacy rights of third parties. Examples include, but are not limited to:
   • Unauthorized copies of software, music, video games, movies, photos, or other media.
   • Bootleg recordings of concerts, movies, or other performances.
   • Sale of back-up copies of software.
   • "Replicas," "knock-offs," in the same "style" as, or "fake" versions of a name brand product.
7. Any item that promotes, glorifies, or is directly associated with hate groups or promotes hatred of any kind.
8. Any animal items that are subject to regulations or laws for the protection of live animals, including endangered species as well as any products made from or including any parts of an animal protected by law or regulation.
9. Fireworks, explosives, or any hazardous material or restricted chemical.
10. Government-issued identification documents, whether authentic or counterfeit
11. Stocks and securities.
12. Gambling items (lottery tickets, sweepstakes, pyramid schemes, raffles etc.).
13. Event tickets sold for prices that are in violation of the laws or regulations of the event venue.
14. Any items that are "adult oriented" in nature or marketed in an objectionable manner, as determined in the sole discretion of the Hitching-Post.net.
15. Any other item or service that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation or which the Hitching-Post.net determines, in it's sole discretion, as being inappropriate for sale through the Classifieds services provided.

The Employment section is a free service provided to help local communities and businesses fill needed positions and provide employment for those needing or looking for a job.

Employment offers must be legit job or career opportunities!

No posting employment opportunities that requires a fee or payment by the applicant, or involves the selling of work-at-home schemes, kits, books, or get rich quick schemes of any kind, including but not limited to, mail stuffing, phone solicitation, pyramid selling or MLM's.

The Hitching-Post.net encourages you to post ads the Classifieds as long as they are not duplicates or other forms of spam, or otherwise inconsistent with the Hitching-Post.net Classified's Policies or Terms of Service. Action may be taken in the sole discretion of the Hitching-Post.net in the form of removal of ads and/or user accounts that are believed to be in violation of policies or misuse of this service.

Examples of Spam may include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Posting an ad that is unrelated to the category in which the ad is placed.
2. Posting identical or duplicate ads in the FREE categories.
3. Posting commercial or unrelated goods or services in the FREE categories.
4. Posting an ad with inappropriate links, titles, descriptions, or unauthorized use of content to which the person posting does not have rights.
5. Posting a multi-level marketing position or other non-traditional job.
6. Posting an ad for the sole purpose of collecting user information or raising money.
7. Posting an ad that contains unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials. This may include an ad that instructs the user to contact the person or company posting the ad for more information and then require the user to pay a fee for that information.
8. Posting a job or money making venture that requires a monetary investment by the user.
9. Posting an ad that requires a user to register before getting detailed information about the product or service.
10. Soliciting users to post ads or join other sites.
11. Soliciting other users to purchase or use your services.
    Exceptions:
    
    • Responding to "Wanted" or "For Trade" ads is ok if you have a product or service they are seeking.
    • If you have a product or service listed you may contact another user that also has a listing to inquire about a possible trade. However, be careful about uninvited solicitations of multiple users as this can create a red flag for spamming users. For example if you have something you'd be willing to trade for another user's product or service listed, try to solicit only one or a few user's at a time, by soliciting a large number at once in attempt to try and get as many prospects and deals as possible is technically spam and can actually be considered unethical especially if you only have a single item to trade. If you have something for trade, consider either mentioning you are willing to accept trade offers in your ad, or list it in the "For Trade" category and let the users come to you with their offers.

Users do not appreciate spam and if we receive complaints we will be forced to take corrective action, at our discretion. Our priorities and commitments are to protect the interests of the users and advertisers of the classifieds community by trying to keep the classifieds free of spammers and cads that are out to spam, annoy, harass, scam or cheat other users, in any way shape or form.

The resale of Event & Concert Tickets are permitted, as long as sellers abide by the applicable state and local laws where the event is located. In an effort to help users conduct lawful ticket sales, the Hitching-Post.net requires that ads for event tickets include the following info in the description:

1. Location of the event (venue, city and state).
2. Date of the event.
3. Face value of the ticket(s).

By deciding to join/register as a member and/or use the site's services, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold the Hitching-Post.net, it's officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) or other expenses that arise directly or indirectly from using this service.

The Hitching-Post.net Classifieds is an online member based service with the sole purpose of providing a venue for it's members to connect and interact with each other online for the purposes of buying, selling and/or trading of goods and services with one another. The Hitching-Post.net does NOT act as a Broker or Mediator for any dealings or transactions between members or users. All contact and dealings between you and other members is solely dependent on you and is entirely your responsibility. We are unable to screen or do background checks of the members who use this service, nor are we able to verify the quality or legitimacy of any of the goods or services being offered by members, therefore we can not guarantee the integrity or plausibility of any matchups and/or dealings between members resulting from the use of this service. You are advised to use caution and discretion when interacting with or entering into any transactions with other members. You acknowledge and agree that the Hitching-Post.net or any of it's owners or employees will not be held responsible or liable for any harm or hardships resulting from any decisions you should make in providing personal information to other members or in your decision to enter into any business transactions or dealings with other members, or deciding to physically meet with another member.

The Hitching-Post.net, in its sole discretion, may terminate any Classified ad or user account immediately and without notice or refunds if you have violated any of the Policies or Terms of Services, including and not limited to the violation of the rights of others.
